Who we are
Driptech was born in the USA in 2008. It all started with the breakthrough innovation of ‘Laser-Punched Drip’ Technology in the Stanford University in the USA which made drip irrigation highly economical, energy efficient, almost maintenance free and user friendly, and thereby created a new paradigm in drip irrigation.
Driptech was founded with the mission of disseminating the above technology among the farmers worldwide. It was supported by the celebrated angel investor Khosla Impact Fund, USA and USAID. A few years later, it was acquired by Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, India a global leader in drip irrigation. It is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Jain Irrigation.
Driptech India now offers a complete range of cost-effective drip irrigation products. Combining the above new technology, product innovation and value engineering, it has created drip irrigation solutions which are cost effective and more user friendly compared to the traditional drip irrigations for almost all applications.
